  I would rather purchase from Carr Supply than Lowe's any day. The Carr staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I took issue with the Justin Small comment directly because he did not directly deal with Mr Parker before hitting the internet. What ever happened to asking someone if they were having a bad day or working on a tough project? Same with the other negative comment. Contractors have a rapport with the staff because they go in there all the time, perhaps?

  I came in to get pricing for a private well system. The salesman sort of smirked and said, "we don't sell to homeowners, company policy" which I found to be rude. I can't believe a guy who the ODH approves to install a well system can't walk into a place that sells them and buy one. I figured I'd pay a little more to get quality materials from a local supplier, but I guess it can't be done.

  If your a contractor you're treated with respect and courtesy. Visited twice as a do it yourself customer and received rude, unfriendly service. Observered on both visits local contractors come in and get a completely different level of service. Discussed my experience with a few other locals and they stated they've had the same experience. Great selection and prices, at least two staff members need a class on customer service. Working in customer service I have no patients for rude people working in a customer service roll.
